However, beyond her athletic feats, Cali has faced significant personal trials, ranging from early college injuries to mental health struggles culminating in an OCD diagnosis.

Motivated by her experiences, Cali embarked on a career in mental health and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in clinical social work at Baylor University. Despite her demanding schedule, which includes doctoral studies, patient sessions, marathon training, and personal time, Cali remains committed to raising awareness and offering encouragement to those in need.
